What's new?

We're upgrading Amplify to a new LLM model on October 16, 2026. Amplify and AI Assistant Prompt Studio now include a Use New LLM Model toggle when previewing prompts. This lets you test and adjust your prompts with the replacement model before it goes live on October 16, 2026.

Why does it matter?

You can proactively tune your prompts to work optimally with the new model before the automatic switch, minimizing disruptions to your Amplify and AI Assistant workflows.

How do I enable this?

The toggle is now available for Admins when previewing prompts in Prompt Studio (Amplify and AI Assistant Admin). For more details about the model upgrade and testing recommendations, see Amplify LLM Model Upgrade: October 2026.
